BillMee Talk, Episode 1: Discovering Asian Comfort Foods

In this segment, Meenu and I, explored delightful Asian comfort foods that most Americans might not know but are easy to enjoy and try at home. We highlighted dishes like turmeric fried chicken, a twist on the familiar fried chicken but made with turmeric, known for its vibrant color and health benefits.

We also talked about the cooking with turmeric and the beauty and health benefits of turmeric. Meenu shared some beauty tips that Indians do with brides to be before the wedding using turmeric. Of course cooking fired chicken using turmeric can make for some crunchy chicken– if done right!

In this episode, Meenu also talked her hiking trips to the country of Georgia and not the American state of Georgia 🙂 We talked eating etiquette at business meetings and difference between doing so in the U.S. and in Asia. Also discussed was the difference between hiking and trekking. Apparently, hiking may only last a couple of hours and trekking can last several days– to which I responded, “…sounds more like an expedition.” Meenu said, “It is!” No thank you!

We also talked about some Malaysian dishes with chicken like Nasi [rice] Lemak [fat]. It looks and tastes better than the meaning. We had fin talking about several other dishes, journeys, and adventures. (see https://www.instructables.com/NASI-LEMAK-COCONUT-MILK-RICE/ and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gf7RocOW39o)

  1. You really make it appear really easy along with your presentation but I in finding
this topic to be actually something which I think I might never
understand. It kind of feels too complicated and extremely vast for me.
I’m taking a look ahead in your next submit, I’ll attempt to get
the grasp of it! Escape room lista
